  • All my life I’ve been seeking to understand what it means to be human: how we grow, relate, grieve, and heal. That curiosity led me to social work, a field that sees you not in isolation but within your full ecology: the inner world, your relationships, and the larger systems that shape your life. Over the past decade, I’ve worked in community and clinical settings, from hospitals and long-term care to grief support and nonprofit organizations, all the while walking alongside people in times of transition, loss, and renewal.

As a therapist, I bring this wide lens into the room. My approach is collaborative, intuitive, and embodied. Together we will explore what feels heavy or uncertain, notice how the body carries memory and emotion, and cultivate gentler ways of relating to ourselves.

My work is grounded in evidence-based practice and deep respect for each person’s pace and autonomy. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and harm-reduction principles. These approaches allow space for both structure and intuition. I believe meaningful change happens when we bring awareness and compassion to what’s already within us.

  • Yoga has been part of my own healing path for more than a decade. While asana, the physical practice, is one expression, yoga (which means union in Sanskrit) speaks to something larger: our inherent interconnectedness with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. Through therapy and yoga (perhaps a mix of both if you are willing) I help people return to that sense of union, of connection. The body is the habitat for the mind and the heart; when we learn to listen to it with care, we access a powerful source of wisdom.

  • Much of my work centers around grief. Not only the grief that follows a death loss or trauma, but also the quiet losses that accompany life changes, identity shifts, and even growth. Grief has a way of revealing what matters most to you. It can leave you disoriented and cracked open, but within that opening is often the first light of transformation. I hold deep respect for the courage it takes to face loss, and I believe that through intentional compassion, grief can become a portal for you to more deeply connect with life.

  • I work with adults navigating grief and loss, trauma and healing, anxiety, and life transitions. As a proud lesbian, my practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and inclusive of diverse identities and experiences. You are welcome here just as you are. My role is not to fix or interpret you, but to walk beside you as you rediscover your capacity for peace, resilience, and self-trust.

  • I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Washington, where I was a Fellow at the Center for Integrative Oncology and Palliative Care Social Work, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Portland State University.

I am also a Certified Grief Counselor (CG-C) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) offering both private and small-group instruction.

I would be honored to connect and explore how we might work together. If you’d like to learn more, visit the FAQ page for details about therapy and yoga offerings, or reach out here when you’re ready to begin.
